The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Mamsa Sports Performance, an organization focused on delivering high-level sports performance, today announced a multi-year partnership to launch the first NBA Basketball School in the NBA. Dominican Republic.
The NBA School of Basketball will start with three local camps this summer for boys and girls ages 6-18, before expanding in 2023 to a year-round program with camps and clinics that will provide young athletes with on-court training , skills development and basketball education.

The NBA School of Basketball is a network of tuition-based developmental programs open to boys and girls ages 6-18 who live outside the United States.
The Dominican Republic will become the fifth country in Latin America to launch or announce plans to open an NBA Basketball School, joining Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay.
"Our main priority is to create opportunities for boys and girls throughout Latin America and the Caribbean to learn the fundamentals and values of the game through programs such as the NBA Basketball School."said the senior vice president and general manager of the NBA in Latin America, Arnon de Mello.
