Nawazuddin Siddiqui, currently promoting his upcoming film “Custo,” is among those who have spoken out.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

In a recent conversation with ANI, Nawazuddin shared his feelings about the attack. “I feel a deep sense of anger and sadness,” he said. “Our government is working to address the issue, and the perpetrators will surely face punishment.” He described the incident as “truly tragic.”

Nawazuddin also praised the people of Kashmir for their warm hospitality towards tourists. “The way Kashmiris welcome visitors goes beyond monetary gain; it’s a reflection of their love and affection for guests.”

A Nation United in Grief

Nawazuddin highlighted the unity that has emerged in the face of this tragedy. “Regardless of one’s religion – Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Christian – we all come together in times of sorrow. It’s a matter of pride that this incident has united the entire country.” In the days following the attack, Nawazuddin had also shown his solidarity by wearing a black band on his hand as a mark of protest.

The actor is set to appear in the biopic “Custo,” which tells the story of Custo Fernandez, a brave customs officer. Directed by Sejal Shah, the film is scheduled for release on OTT platforms on May 1, 2025.
