New Delhi: The Indian Supreme Court has sentenced former Punjab Congress president and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sadhu to life in prison.
According to Indian media reports, Sadhu had tortured a man along with his friend during a street fight in Indian Punjab in 1988, after which he died.
According to the report, the incident took place when Navjot Singh Sadhu was part of the Indian cricket team on which the Indian Supreme Court had released Navjot Singh Sadhu with a fine of Rs.

Later, in September 2118, the Indian Supreme Court issued a notice to Sadhu on a review petition filed by the family of the deceased.
