When a creative force like Neil Druckmann makes a move, the entire tech and entertainment world pays attention. After guiding the highly anticipated second season of The Last of Us TV series to completion, Druckmann is now set to dive back into the world of game development full-time.
This news came straight from Naughty Dog’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. They confirmed that Druckmann has finished his work on Season 2 of The Last of Us. He will not return for Season 3 on HBO. Instead, he plans to fully focus on his role as creative director and studio head for an exciting new game. This upcoming title is called Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
