Natural beauty cream for at home

Today in this video I’ll tell you how to make a natural cream or homemade ointment with antioxidant properties and all the power of hibiscus and calendula.

You will need some ingredients:

125 ml marigold or almond oil
20 grams of dried hibiscus flowers
10 grams of grated beeswax or flakes. As a vegan variant you can use candelilla.

Procedure for this homemade cream:

Grind the dried hibiscus flowers well in a coffee grinder until a powder is formed. You can also crush it in a mortar, but that takes more effort.

We mix the resulting powder with the oil in a stainless steel jug and place it in a water bath over low heat. We stir every now and then and let it stand for at least 1 hour. We have to be careful that it doesn’t reach the boiling point.

While we rub and weigh the beeswax.

After an hour, strain through a cheesecloth and allow to drain well. When it has cooled slightly, squeeze the cloth and wring it out to remove any residue.

We put the preparation back in a stainless steel jug and add the 10g of beeswax. Place in a water bath over low heat until the beeswax has melted.

When it has cooled down a little, we pour them into the glasses. We let it cool completely and finally cover it so that it does not thicken and water does not get into the preparation.

Duration of natural cream

Since these creams contain beeswax, they have a long shelf life and do not require any preservatives. They will easily stay in good condition for about three months. If you want it to last a little longer, like 6 months, add a few drops of vitamin E.
