NATO claims 15,000 Russian troops killed in Ukraine

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has claimed that 15,000 Russian soldiers were killed in the war against Ukraine.

According to foreign media reports, a statement issued by the military alliance NATO said that 7,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers had been killed in one month in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

NATO says a month has passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine ended, with several Russian soldiers wounded.

This month, Russia confirmed that dozens of its soldiers had been killed and hundreds wounded in the war with Ukraine. Russia’s Defense Ministry says 498 Russian troops have been killed and more than 1,500 wounded in Ukraine.

On the other hand, Finland, which aspires to NATO membership, has announced to send a shipment of defense equipment after supplying weapons of war to Ukraine against Russia.

Four days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Finland broke its long-standing policy of not supplying weapons to war zones and announced that it would send anti-tank weapons, assault rifles and ammunition to Kyiv.

Several countries, including Sweden, Britain and Germany, have announced plans to send new shipments to Ukraine this week, following calls from Ukrainian President Zelensky to increase their military aid to the European Union and NATO.
