NATO alliance bows to Russia, says Ukrainian Foreign Minister

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kliba says the NATO alliance has succumbed to Russian pressure.

Speaking on Ukrainian television, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kleba said that NATO was not the power that the Ukrainians had imagined before because it had refused to impose a no-fly zone.

He said he was ready for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, but only if such talks were meaningful.

On the other hand, Britain’s Chief of Defense Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin says that in order to save Ukraine, Europe and the rest of the world, Britain wants to make sure that the war in Ukraine does not escalate further.

Admiral Sir Tony Radakin added that the citizens of Ukraine are facing a terrible situation, but we do not want a war between NATO and Russia.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky strongly condemned NATO and the Western alliance for repeatedly refusing to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine’s airspace.

Vladimir Zelensky believes that the implementation of the no-fly zone could prevent Russia from launching air strikes, but the Western alliance says it will lead to a direct war with Russian forces in the West.
