Nairo will run the Nationals with the Colombian National Team

Nairo Quintana already has a team to run the 2023 National Road Championships. He will do so with the Colombian National Team, which is directed by Carlos Mario Jaramillo. It is not yet known who their partners will be for this competitionAlthough cyclists such as Rigoberto Urán, Egan Bernal, Miguel Ángel ‘Superman’ López, Esteban Chaves, Winner Anacona will be present.

The riders will compete in the municipalities of Girón, Floridablanca and in the streets of Bucaramanga. Diario AS Colombia had anticipated the participation of the boyacense in this race and the runner himself confirmed it: “Good morning to all friends, I want to tell you that I will run the Nationals. See you in Bucaramanga next weekend”.

It should be noted that Quintana acquired the federation license to run without a team in the Nationals, but will be defending the Colombian National Team team. The last time he was present in the competition was in the 2020 edition. On that occasion the venue was Tunja and they finished in fourth position overall.

“On the afternoon of this Thursday, the Colombian Cycling Federation received the official registration of Nairo Quintana to participate in the long-distance test of the National Road Championships.an event that will take place next Sunday, February 5 in Bucaramanga”, the FCC said. After this competition, the boyacense would return to Europe to look for his link to a team.

Nairo, ready for 2023
