Naga Vamsi Clarifies Boney Kapoor Row Amid Hansal Mehta’s Sharp Remark

Debate Between Filmmakers Escalates

A recent conversation between filmmakers Boney Kapoor and Naga Vamsi has turned into a heated debate, with several other filmmakers weighing in on the issue. The debate began when Vamsi stated that South cinema has revolutionized Hindi cinema, citing the success of films like Pushpa 2. This comment did not sit well with some filmmakers, including Hansal Mehta and Siddharth Anand.

Reactions from Hansal Mehta and Siddharth Anand

Hansal Mehta took to social media to express his disagreement with Vamsi’s statement. He pointed out that Vamsi’s latest hit film, Lucky Bhaskar, was made by borrowing from a scam series. Mehta also stated that he lives in Mumbai and is sleeping peacefully, implying that Vamsi’s comments about Bollywood being threatened by South cinema are unfounded.

Siddharth Anand also responded to Vamsi’s comments, stating that Mumbai is a city that never sleeps and that some people are still not aware of the real Mumbai. Anand also mentioned that he has stayed in Bandra and Juhu, implying that Vamsi’s comments about Bollywood being limited to these areas are inaccurate.

Vamsi’s Clarification

Naga Vamsi responded to the criticism by stating that he and Boney Kapoor had a healthy conversation and that there was no disrespect towards Kapoor. Vamsi also mentioned that he and Kapoor laughed and hugged each other after the interview, implying that the conversation was not as heated as it was made out to be.
