Nacional is still searching for one key player. They need a skilled right-winger to complete their squad. President Rui Alves hopes to find a good deal. The new player must be experienced. He should also add real power to the Black and Whites’ attack.
Coach Tiago Margarido feels good about his team. He has shared that he is pleased with the players available. Yet, he still waits for this final piece of the puzzle. This last signing would round out the group perfectly.
However, the team already has many players. So, some younger footballers will likely leave the club. This is common for their development. Francisco Gonçalves, Josué Sousa, and Douglas Nathan are examples. They need playing time to gain experience.
Defender Festim Shatri is another case. He will not be part of Margarido’s immediate plans. Shatri is expected to go on loan again, to a club abroad. He played for ND Primorje in Slovenia last season.
