Mysterious Nighttime Shooting Claims Life in Montevideo Neighborhood Suddenly

Investigation Details

The incident took place at the intersection of Pasaje Tres and Teniente Rinaldi, located in the Piedras Blancas neighborhood, at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday. According to initial reports, the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found the victim, a male, lying on a motorcycle that had been knocked to the ground on Pasaje Tres.

The primary police report indicated that the victim had severe bleeding in the neck area and multiple shell casings were discovered at the scene, as highlighted in the report.

A 911 caller reported witnessing two individuals on a motorcycle, from which they allegedly attacked the victim.

Law enforcement responded to the scene after receiving a warning from the Unified Command Center, which monitors surveillance footage and detects gunshot sounds through sensors.

Victim’s Background

The deceased, a 42-year-old male, had a history of criminal activity, with three prior records, the most recent of which dated back to December 6, 2019, for a domestic violence offense.
