Yangon: 8 people were killed and many were injured due to heavy explosions in Myanmar’s largest prison.
According to the details, two explosions were carried out at intervals outside and inside the Ansin Jail.
A foreign news agency According to the report 3 jailers and 5 visitors were killed and 10 people were injured in these blasts carried out in the morning.
After the explosion, the area was cordoned off by security officials and further investigation into the incident has been started.
It should be noted that Ansin prison is the largest prison in the country and there are about 10,000 prisoners in it, most of whom are political prisoners.
Media reports further stated that no party or group has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts.
