MWC 2023: Everything we know about the Xiaomi 13 Lite

Xiaomi will present its new premium series worldwide. But the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models do not arrive alone, they bring with them a new member of the family.

Xiaomi confirmed a while ago that it will be present at the Mobile World Congress event that takes place in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2. And it is precisely on the eve of the opening of this fair, on February 26, that the brand will hold a press conference, broadcast on the YouTube platform.

It will be guaranteed at this conference that the Chinese brand will launch the premium Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models worldwide. But it is expected that the Xiaomi 13 Lite, the most affordable novelty in the series, will also be on this occasion.

Meanwhile, the Web world has also revealed the price at which the variants of the new terminal will reach the European market. Thus, the 128 GB model will cost 499 euros while the 256 GB version will have a higher price of 549 euros.

Xiaomi 13 Lite specifications (rumored)

According to the rumors spread so far, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is actually a renowned version of the Xiaomi Civi 2, only available in the Chinese market.

As such, the specifications are expected to be the same. Thus, the model will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen will have a tablet-shaped cutout that could house functionality similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.

Inside, the Xiaomi 13 Lite houses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor combined with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The terminal will already be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 67-watt fast charging.

Otherwise, the triple rear camera setup will feature the 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor, complemented by a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera will have 32 megapixel resolution.
