Musk is once again the richest person in the world, according to Bloomberg

Elon Musk regained the title of richest person in the world on Monday, after having temporarily lost it at the hands of Frenchman Bernard Arnault, according to the list of billionaires in real time compiled by the Bloomberg agency.

The tycoon, who for now continues behind Arnault in other lists such as the one published by Forbes, has recently benefited from the recovery of the shares of Tesla, the electric vehicle company he runs and in whose titles he has concentrated a good part of his fortune. Tesla closed the stock market session this Monday with a rise of more than 5% and so far this year it has accumulated a rise of more than 92% with which it has recovered much of what it lost in the collapse suffered during the second half of 2022. Bloomberg now calculates Musk’s fortune at about 187.1 billion dollars, above the 185.3 billion he attributes to Arnault, president and CEO of the LVMH luxury group. Arnault had displaced Musk last December as the richest person in the world as a result of Tesla’s sharp stock market decline, whose rise in recent years skyrocketed the fortune of the businessman and owner of Twitter.
