Despite winning 10 games in a row at this year’s World Cup, India lost to Australia in the final. The fans and supporters of the Indian cricket team could not bear this disappointment on the shore. However, a section of Bangladesh cricket fans cheered India’s defeat. Which of course the Indians didn’t support.
Actor Musharraf Karim spoke about the same topic.
Musharraf Karim was present at the opening ceremony of Ashoknagar Drama Festival at North 24 Parganas in West Bengal, India last Friday evening. There the actor answered various questions from journalists. About his visit there, he said: “I always want to come back here.”
When asked why Bangladeshi dramas are so popular but West Bengal dramas are not becoming more popular, Musharraf Karim said, “I can’t say for sure, but in the case of art, you can never say that anything has been done in any way.” I think the real way is to engage the mind with theatre. In our country, I don’t do theater seriously. So it is difficult for me to talk about West Bengal theater from there. But I want to go back to the theater. I miss this theater the most.
Meanwhile, they also asked about actress Tanzin Tisha. However, Musharraf Karim did not want to comment on this. He said, “I’m a different type of person.” I’m not that active on social media.
