Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Fernandez narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.
The assailant drew a pistol and aimed at the vice president but luckily the shot did not go off and the accused was caught by the people present after failing in his attempt.
The incident took place in the capital, Buenos Aires, when the vice president was among her supporters. When he reached home from the court, a large number of his supporters were there.

At the same time, a person came near the vice president and fired with a pistol right in front of his face, but the shot did not go off, and suddenly people, realizing the situation, tied up the attacker and took Cristina Fernandez into custody.
It has been reported that there were 5 bullets in the pistol but fortunately the bullet did not fire and the Vice President escaped unhurt.
