Murcia Set to Host 2023-24 Endesa Super Cup for Second Consecutive Year

According to an agreement reached between the Asociación de Clubes de Baloncesto (ACB) and the Government of the Region of Murcia, Murcia will host the 2023-24 Endesa Super Cup for the second consecutive year. This event is one of the most prestigious in the world of basketball, and its upcoming edition promises to be a thrilling experience.

Notable Teams to Participate in the 2023-24 Endesa Super Cup
The competition, scheduled to take place at the Palacio de Deportes de Murcia between September 21 and 22, will feature some of the most skilled basketball teams, including Real Madrid, champion of the Endesa League, Copa del Rey, and Endesa Super Cup; UCAM Murcia, which will act as the runner-up in the Endesa League; and Unicaja and Barcelona, who will participate as third and fourth in the league.

Semi-Final Draw Set to Feature Top Seeds
In the semi-final draw, Real Madrid and UCAM Murcia will act as seeds. Real Madrid is a reigning champion, having lifted the trophy at the Murcia pavilion in last year’s edition. In addition to their victory, Real Madrid is known for its impressive history in the Endesa Super Cup, with 10 titles in the competition’s list of winners since its debut in 1984. Barcelona comes in second, having secured six titles, followed by Baskonia with four, and other notable teams such as Joventut, Gran Canaria, and Valencia.
