Historic Win for Mumbai Team: In a recent match of the Women’s Under-19 ODI Trophy, the Mumbai team secured a resounding victory against the Meghalaya team in Alur, Bengaluru. The Mumbai team showcased exceptional performance in both batting and bowling, ultimately winning the match by 544 runs.

Ira Jadhav’s Record-Breaking Innings

Ira Jadhav, a 14-year-old opening batsman for the Mumbai team, delivered an outstanding performance. She scored a total of 346 runs in 157 balls, including 42 fours and 16 sixes. This remarkable innings made her the highest scorer in the Women’s Under-19 ODI Trophy and the first player to achieve a triple century in any limited-overs tournament organized by the BCCI.

Captain Harley Gala’s Century

Captain Harley Gala also made a significant contribution to the team’s success, scoring 116 runs and hitting 14 fours and one six. The partnership between Ira Jadhav and Harley Gala resulted in 274 runs for the second wicket. Mithali Harshad Mhatre remained not out with 26 runs, helping the Mumbai team achieve a total of 563 runs at the loss of three wickets in 50 overs

Mumbai Team’s Dominant Victory

The Meghalaya team struggled to respond to the Mumbai team’s impressive batting performance. None of their batsmen could reach double digits, and the entire team managed to score only 19 runs in 25.4 overs. The Mumbai team’s bowlers, Jiya Mandravadkar, Yayati, Ritika Yadav, and Akshay Shinde, took three and two wickets each, respectively, leading to the Meghalaya team’s crushing defeat by 544 runs.
