Addressing a function held at Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital in Kabul, Mullah Yaqub said that the distance between me and you has closed, we all have to work together.
Mullah Yaqub’s video has been released by pro-Taliban social media accounts in which he discusses health issues in Afghanistan in Pashto.

Addressing the ceremony, Mullah Yaqub said that with the construction of the hospital, there will come a time when the people of Afghanistan will not have to go abroad for treatment.
After becoming defense minister, Mullah Yaqub announced that his ministry wanted to create a national and independent army with ground and air capabilities to better defend the country.
Mullah Yaqub, the son of Taliban founder Mullah Omar, is currently Afghanistan’s defense minister and deputy emir of the Taliban movement. He is about 27 years old and received his early religious education in Pakistani madrassas.
