Shahrukh Khan married Gauri Khan on October 25, 1991. The couple has been living a happy married life for 32 years. Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's love interest, works hard to keep her home and family together. She doesn't let Shahrukh Khan's professional life affect her personal life and for that she has set some rules that King Khan has to follow.
Gauri Khan revealed in an interview with Filmfare that she did not allow King Khan to take the sets home. He said, “At home we never talk about his work.” If Shah Rukh ever sits down to watch a Hindi film video, I will probably break the TV. When he brings home a script, it goes right out the window. He has a lot of time for all of this on set.
How strictly the rules laid down by Gauri Khan are followed can be seen from the fact that filmmakers met Shah Rukh at his house only when Gauri was not at home. However, when Shah Rukh was building the front of the house, Gauri had no problem with his comings and goings.
During this interview, Gauri had also made it clear that although she is a part of films, she has no connection with them. Gauri called acting the “worst profession” in the world and also made it clear that no offer could convince her to work in films.
