MrBeast Explores Egypt’s Pyramids in 100 Hour Viral Video Adventure

Located in Egypt, the Pyramids are among the most recognized monuments worldwide, yet they hold many secrets that remain unknown to the general public. This is what motivated Mrbeast, with the Egyptian government’s permission, to embark on a unique project: recording the interior of the pyramids for 100 hours.

Jimmy, accompanied by his classmates, ventured into the pyramids and the Sphinx, observing the intricate hieroglyphs and uncovering their mysteries for the public. His goal was to showcase the interior of these ancient structures in a video, providing an unprecedented glimpse into their secrets.

The interior of the pyramids, made public in a viral video

For a long time, the streamer had been planning to create this video, and after obtaining permission from the Egyptian government, he was finally able to make it happen. With permission to record for 100 hours, he was able to explore the pyramids extensively, and the resulting video reveals the wealth of experiences he had during this time.

Jimmy visited the pyramids of Keops, Kefrén, and Micerinos, starting with the supposed rest chamber of Keops. He also explored Kefrén’s pyramid but did not stay there for long. Additionally, he investigated the ‘tomb of the god Osiris’, which features a flooded area that required neoprene costumes to navigate.

During his visit to the third pyramid, Micerinos, Jimmy was accompanied by Ashraf Mohi Al-Din, the director of the Guiza Plateau. Under the guidance of Zahi Hawass, they also visited the Sphinx, where they left a letter for the future and a gold figure worth $10,000 as a token of their visit.

Jimmy’s exploration did not stop at the most well-known areas; he also visited the tomb of Ihmery, a highly exclusive site featuring remarkably preserved hieroglyphs. The reason visits are typically not allowed to this tomb is due to the exceptional state of these hieroglyphs.

Furthermore, Jimmy excavated some tombs of the pyramid workers and eventually made his way to the top of the Great Guiza Pyramid, also known as Keops’ pyramid. There, he discovered more hieroglyphs and encountered an unexpected surprise: a bat attack.
