Motorola’s latest flip phone, the Razr 60 Ultra, is here, and it’s packed with upgrades.
The phone is 15.7mm thick when closed and 7.2mm when open, weighing 199 grams. Still, it’s a solid device with impressive features.
The Razr 60 Ultra is built to last, boasting an IP48 rating that protects it from dust and water up to 80°C. You can take it out in the rain or spill something on it without worrying.
The battery has been upgraded to 4,700mAh, and fast charging is now at 68W, a significant increase from the previous 45W. Wireless charging has also been bumped up to 30W. You’ll get a full day of use, even with heavy gaming or video streaming.
Display and Performance
The cover screen is a 4-inch P-OLED panel with Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection. It supports a 1-165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and DCI-P3 100% color gamut. The main screen is a 7-inch AMOLED display with a 1224 x 2912 resolution, also supporting a 1-165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and DCI-P3 120% color gamut. Peak brightness hits 4,000 nits, making it readable even in direct sunlight.
The Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, built on a 3nm process. This chip delivers top-notch performance with its 8-core CPU and fast LPDDR5X RAM. You can configure it with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Android 15 right out of the box.
Camera Capabilities
The camera setup is pretty great. You get a 50MP main camera on the cover with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. There’s also a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 122° field of view. The selfie camera on the main screen is another 50MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The cameras are backed by Pantone color rendering for accurate colors.
Other features include digital car keys that work with some BMW and Mini models via NFC and Ultra-Wideband (UWB). The phone also supports Dolby Vision video recording and playback, as well as Dolby Atmos audio.
The Razr 60 Ultra comes in four colors: Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Cabaret. It will be available in the US on May 15, 2025, starting at $1,300.
