Motorola Unveils Moto G (2026) Line: Dimensity 6300, 5200 mAh Battery, Starting Under $200

Motorola is expanding its budget-friendly G-series smartphone lineup in North America with the introduction of the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Play (2026), aiming to solidify its position in the competitive mid-range market.

The Moto G (2026) will retail for $199.99, while the more affordable Moto G Play (2026) will be priced at $169.99. Both models emphasize strong battery life and specific feature sets for their price points.

The Moto G Play (2026) will launch first, becoming available on November 13, 2025. The Moto G (2026) will follow on December 11, 2025.

Powering the Moto G (2026) is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on 6-nanometer technology. It features an octa-core CPU with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.0 GHz.

This model includes 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It runs a stock version of Android 16.

The Moto G (2026) is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery, supporting 30W fast charging. Its 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen offers a 720 x 1604 pixel resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of brightness.

The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The phone’s body carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

For photography, the Moto G (2026) features a 50-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will be available in Pantone Slipstream and Pantone Cattleya Orchid colors, both with a faux leather back.

Distribution for the Moto G (2026) will include Motorola’s website and various U.S. carriers and retailers such as Verizon, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, Tracfone, Walmart Family, and Visible.

The Moto G Play (2026) adjusts camera specifications, featuring a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It supports 18W charging.

This model will be offered in a Pantone Tapestry color, also with a faux leather back. It will be sold via Motorola’s website and U.S. partners like Amazon, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, UScellular, and Cox Mobile.
