According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe, Motorola will be the first brand to introduce a smartphone with Samsung’s 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP1 sensor. Which means that, for the first time, Xiaomi will be defeated in the race for new specifications.

Until now, Xiaomi has always been the first brand to present equipment with new Samsung sensors, surpassing even the South Korean giant, responsible for its development.

But this time, it seems that Motorola will reach the goal first, showing a smartphone with a 200-megapixel sensor, possibly already in the first half of 2022.

According to the leaker Ice Universe, Xiaomi should introduce the same type of equipment only in the second half of next year, while Samsung will only integrate its 200-megapixel sensor into the brand’s smartphones in 2023.

Recall that Samsung introduced the ISOCELL HP1 sensor in September this year and that it is equipped with Chameleon Cell technology that uses a two-by-two, four-by-four or full pixel design to allow users to capture images with resolutions between 12.5 and 200 megapixels. .

Unfortunately, the well-known leaker does not say which Motorola terminal will present the new sensor. But, in principle, the Edge 30 Ultra, scheduled for presentation shortly, will not be the lucky one, since it has already been revealed that it will integrate a 50 megapixel OmniVision OV50A main sensor, complemented by two more sensors, one also with 50 megapixels and a third with two megapixels.

But everything indicates that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is the first terminal to integrate the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor combined with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

With a 4700 mAh battery that supports a fast charging of 68 watts, the Edge 30 Ultra will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, in addition to having a reader. Integrated fingerprints.
