Later this year, Motorola will return with a vengeance to the foldable smartphone segment with the Razr 3.
According to the latest revelations made about the terminal, the Razr 3 will compete directly with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip4, both in integrated specifications and design.

Once upon a time, Motorola dominated the foldable smartphone segment with its Razr model. Until the moment when Samsung ended up surpassing it with the terminals of the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip series that are currently the market leaders.
But it seems that the brand managed by Lenovo wants to shine again in the foldable segment and even this year it intends to launch the third generation of its well-known Razr model.
Now some of the specifications with which the device will hit the market have been revealed, as well as images that reveal its design.
Let’s start with this last point. According to the published images, the Razr 3 will show a clamshell design, very similar to the one adopted by Samsung in its Flip3.
It seems to have small dimensions, considering that in the image when it is closed it fits in the palm of the hand. Although the square format does not seem so attractive, the small size can win over many users.
Specifications expected in the Motorola Razr 3
Some of the specifications of Motorola’s new Razr were also revealed. And, once again, it seems that he has armed himself with arguments to face the future Galaxy Z Flip4.
The controls of the terminal may be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor or its optimized version Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. Remember that Samsung foldables should also come equipped with this latest chip.
As for RAM, the Motorola Razr 3 should have capacities of 8 and 12 GB, as well as 256 or 512 GB of built-in internal storage, similar to what will happen with the Galaxy Z Flip4.
On the optical side, the Razr 3 should feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an ultra-wide sensor with a 13-megapixel resolution. At the front there will be a 32-megapixel camera.
No further information is available, but if the revelations made now are confirmed, the foldable smartphone segment could gain more momentum and competitiveness.
