Motorola just rolled out a new budget-friendly tablet called the Moto Pad 60 NEO. This device is heading to India, a booming market for tech gadgets. Motorola says it’s the slimmest and lightest 5G tablet available. It measures just 6.99 millimeters thin and weighs only 480 grams. The tablet even comes with a Moto Pen stylus right in the box.
The Moto Pad 60 NEO features an 11-inch LCD screen. This display boasts a sharp 2.5K resolution, which is 2,560 by 1,600 pixels. It offers a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate and can get quite bright at 500 nits. To help your eyes after long use, the screen reduces blue light and is flicker-free. These features meet TÜV Rheinland standards for eye comfort.
When it comes to sound, the tablet has four speakers. These speakers support Dolby Atmos for a richer audio experience. You’ll also find a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.
Under the hood, the Moto Pad 60 NEO runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip. This chip is built using 6-nanometer technology and can reach speeds of up to 2.4 GHz. It pairs with a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor. The tablet comes with 8 GB of fast LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. If you need more room, you can add a MicroSD Card up to 2 TB. It runs on the Android 15 operating system.
For photos, there’s an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus on the back. A 5-megapixel camera sits on the front for selfies and video calls. The tablet connects through 5G SA/NSA and 4G LTE networks. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. Location services include GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. A USB Type-C port (USB 2.0) handles charging and data transfer. Powering all of this is a large 7,040 mAh battery, which supports 20 W fast charging. The tablet’s body is also protected from dust and splashes thanks to its IP52 rating.
Motorola will launch the Moto Pad 60 NEO in India on September 22, 2025. You can buy it through Flipkart and Motorola India’s own online store. It will be available in a Pantone Bronze Green color. The 5G version, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, will cost 17,999 Indian Rupees.
