Motorola’s new Edge 70 phone is already generating buzz, even before its official launch on November 5, 2025. Known as the Moto X70 Air in China, early details about this smartphone have surfaced on Motorola’s websites in Poland and Italy. These sneak peeks give us a good idea of what to expect from the brand’s next big release.
The leaked information shows the Motorola Edge 70 will pack a 4,800 mAh battery. This battery supports quick charging at 68 W and also offers 15 W wireless charging. For those eyeing the 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version, expect prices to range from 709 Euros to 801.91 Euros, depending on the country.
New information from the Polish website also showed off more specs and real images. The Motorola Edge 70 measures 160 x 75 x 6 mm. While it’s Motorola’s thinnest yet, it’s actually a bit larger and thicker than some competitors. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is 158.2 x 75.6 x 5.8 mm, and the iPhone Air is 156.2 x 74.7 x 5.6 mm. The Edge 70 also weighs 170 grams, which is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Edge at 163 grams and the iPhone Air at 165 grams.
Up front, the phone features a 6.67-inch OLED screen. This display has a sharp resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. It also boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate, which means super smooth visuals when scrolling or playing games. Tucked into the front is a 50 MP camera, perfect for clear selfies.
Around the back, the main camera is a powerful 50 MP sensor. It includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to keep your photos steady. There’s also a second 50 MP camera, though it’s still unclear if this is for ultra-wide shots or zoom capabilities.
Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 will run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. This mid-range processor first appeared in May 2025. It’s built on 4-nanometer tech and can reach speeds of up to 2.80 GHz. The phone will likely come with Android 16, topped with Motorola’s own Hello UI.
To top it all off, Motorola has teamed up with Pantone, the global color authority. The Edge 70 will feature distinct color options like Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Gray, and Pantone Lily Pad, giving it a stylish edge.
