Motorola Edge 60 Neo Unveiled: Premium Mid-Range with Dimensity 7400, 5000mAh, IP69

Motorola continues to push its Edge 60 smartphone line. The company just revealed the Edge 60 Neo at the Lenovo Innovation World event. This took place at the global electronics show IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany. The new phone builds on the Edge 50 Neo from 2024, offering a more powerful chip and a bigger battery.

At the heart of the Motorola Edge 60 Neo is MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7400 mid-range chipset. MediaTek first announced this chip in February 2025. It uses 4-nanometer technology and features an 8-core CPU.

  • Four Cortex-A78 CPU cores run at up to 2.6 GHz for top performance.
  • Four Cortex-A55 CPU cores run at up to 2.0 GHz for better power saving.

This Dimensity 7400 chipset works with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It runs on a clean version of Android 15. This means the operating system comes without any extra modifications or clutter.

The front of the phone features a large 6.36-inch OLED screen. It offers Full HD+ clarity and includes LTPO technology. This tech helps save power without lowering display quality. The screen can reach a brightness of 3,000 Nits and supports HDR10+ color standards. Strong Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display from scratches.

Powering these premium features is a larger 5,000 mAh battery. This is an upgrade from the previous model. The phone supports fast 66W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. All of this fits into a slim body, only 8.09 mm thick and weighing 174.5 grams. The device also boasts impressive durability ratings.

  • It has an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. This means it can handle being in water 1.5 meters deep for at least 30 minutes. It also resists high-pressure water at temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius.
  • The phone meets military-grade MIL-STD-810H toughness standards. This allows it to work in tough conditions like extreme hot or cold, humidity, sand, or vibrations.

For photography, the Edge 60 Neo uses the same camera setup as its predecessor. It has a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony Lytia 700C sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There is also a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, offering a 120-degree view. A 10-megapixel zoom camera provides 3x lossless zoom and OIS.

The front-facing camera captures 32-megapixel photos with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Motorola Edge 60 Neo also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It includes a fingerprint sensor built into the display. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound offer a rich audio experience.
