Motorcyclists punished for violating law

KUWAIT CITY: A new decision banning the “delivery” of motorcycles on highways has been implemented in Kuwait, with the harshest punishment announced for violators of the law.

According to details, informed security sources revealed to the media the implementation of the decision to ban “motorcycle delivery” on highways, which the Interior Ministry announced would take effect on Sunday.

Sources said that the decision has been implemented following an agreement with the Federation of Restaurant and Delivery Companies that each motorcycle will be fitted with devices that will guide the rider.

Taking legal action for traffic violations and in case of repeated violations, the motorcyclist will be deported for disobeying and disrespecting the law.
