The next MotoGP season continues to take shape. The provisional calendar for 2022 has already been revealed, and in total it will feature a total of 21 grand prizes between March and November, which will once again kick off under the floodlights of Qatar. The Losail appointment (from March 6 to 8) will inaugurate a new season, for the sixteenth consecutive time, and again Valencia will put the final touch on the course eight months later.
As a novelty they are included in the calendar visits to two new venues in Indonesia and Finland. The European country recovers a grand prize 40 years later, while the visit to the Mandalika International Street Circuit will make up an Asian tour that returns after two years marked by the pandemic. Japan will inaugurate the visit to the Asian continent and on the other side of the pond, in the American one, Argentina will also be back.
