More than 500 athletes at Festival Deportivo/Vicentillo Holy Week 2023

More than 500 athletes will be competing in beach volleyball, softball, billiards and dominoes at the Hato Mayor/Vicentillo Sports Festival, whose top event, the ball and the high net, starts on Good Friday on the sandy courts of Rancho Doña Callita .

The stage is set to receive 45 teams in both branches and three categories, which will compete for more than 21,000 dollars from April 7 to 9, in a tournament dedicated to Amaury Martínez, former senior national team and captain of the Dominican team.

It is the same place where the North American, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (Norceca) celebrates one of its qualifying stops for the Olympic Games, for which the mayor of Hato Mayor del Rey, Amado de la Cruz, has been repetitive when point out that “this is a Hato Mayor event, where we are all committed to its success.”
