Garg passed away on September 19 in Singapore. Reports indicated his death occurred during a scuba diving incident.
His wife, Garima, has expressed the family’s desire for answers regarding his last moments. She stated her trust in the legal system to uncover the truth.
On the one-month anniversary, hundreds gathered at Garg’s funeral site in Sonapur, just outside Guwahati. Many also visited his residence and studio in Guwahati’s Kahilipara and Zoo Road areas.
A 10-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) from the State Police CID is actively probing the circumstances of his death. Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.
Singapore police are conducting a parallel investigation. SIT officers from Assam are scheduled to visit the Southeast Asian nation as part of their inquiry.
Following his demise, Vedic rituals were performed at Garg’s studio. His father, wife, and sister participated in these ceremonies.
