The Stars defeated the Toros del Este 1-0 at the start, this Wednesday, of the 2021-2022 autumn-winter tournament dedicated to the memory of General Kalil Haché and in which the Banreservas Cup is played. The match was held at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in this province.
It was a meeting where the green pitching made finery of a good performance in which they only accepted three hits and was led by Radhames Liz, who worked four innings and two thirds of only two hits, two walks and five strikeouts.

Then Santana threw the first ball. He had Gustavo Núñez as recipient of honor and Jeisson Guzmán as batter, both members of the national baseball team, also winner of the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
This was followed by the presentation of both teams and then gave way to the young artist Wellyn Decente, who interpreted the National Anthem to conclude with a fireworks display.
