The Indian cricket team won the title by defeating Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the final of the 2023 Asia Cup on Sunday. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was the hero of this Indian victory. Siraj had ensured Team India’s victory with his deadly bowling in the fourth over of the game. After winning the title match, Team India received record prize money. At the same time, money rained on Sri Lanka, which lost in the final.
At the awards ceremony after the game, numerous awards were presented to the best performing players and teams in the tournament. Team India, which won the title, received a cash prize of US$1,50,000 (approximately Rs. 1.24 crore).

Ground staff were rewarded for their efforts to ensure the successful completion of all games. He received prize money of $50,000. In Indian rupees, the field workers received about 41.54 lakh rupees.
