Speaking to India Today, Mona Singh said: ‘Yes, I have faced it, but it was before I got ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’. This was the time when she used to come from Pune to Bombay for auditions. I met some people who made me feel uncomfortable, strange and terrible.
Mona Singh further said: ‘You know, those things happen in life. The only thing is that such things will never discourage you from doing what you want to do. So yeah, it didn’t discourage me from getting into the industry. I’m still chasing my dream. It still exists and not just in this industry. It is everywhere and it has become a personal choice.
Talking about the work front, Mona was seen in the role of Aamir Khan’s mother in ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. At the same time, she recently premiered her web series ‘Kafus’. In which the actress has played the role of mother of a young man.
