Filmmaker Mohit Suri is all set to launch two new musical talents from Kashmir in his upcoming film ‘Saiyaara’. The movie’s title track, released recently, introduces Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami to the Hindi film industry. Suri reveals that he has been working on the film’s music for the past five years, carefully curating the songs and tunes.
Suri says, “I love meeting new composers and singers, and collecting their tunes. The ‘Saiyaara’ album is the result of my years of hard work and collection.” He wanted to create a fresh and soulful romantic album for the film, which marks the debut of actor Ahan Panday. The title track, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, features lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
The film, produced by Yash Raj Films, is one of the most anticipated romantic movies of the year. Suri says, “I wanted the album to be a breath of fresh air, a romantic album that would touch the audience’s hearts. Every song in the album is special to me.” The movie’s female lead, Avneet Kaur, was the last to join the cast.
