“Saiyaara,” starring Ahan Pandey and Aneet Padda, has received the Popular Choice Award at the Yellowstone International Film Festival. The film’s director, Mohit Suri, accepted the honor alongside Yash Raj Films CEO Akshay Vidhani.
This marks a significant milestone for Suri, who expressed his profound satisfaction. “This is truly special,” Suri stated. “I have been working for 20 years and this is my first award.”
Suri is known for directing popular films such as “Aashiqui 2” and “Kalyug.” His extensive career now includes this notable international recognition.
The romantic drama, which premiered on July 18, has achieved significant commercial success. It grossed approximately $68.7 million USD worldwide at the box office.
Audiences widely praised “Saiyaara” for its compelling story, fresh performances from its lead actors, and memorable music. The film has been a major hit.
Akshay Vidhani lauded the film’s impact and success. He proudly compared “Saiyaara” to the classic romantic film “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.”
Vidhani commented, “I think this film is one of the highest-grossing love story films ever. It made me feel proud.”
