A century-long partnership for the first wicket between Moeen Ali and Kenar Lewis helped the Northern Warriors beat the Chennai Braves by 19 runs to record their first victory at the Abu Dhabi T10 cricket tournament. Moeen (49 of 19 balls, three fours, five sixes) and Lewis (49 of 19 balls, six fours, three sixes) added 106 runs for the first wicket.
Captain Rovman Powell made 28 of 12 balls and Samit Patel made an undefeated 18 of nine balls as the Warriors posted a whopping 152 for four in 10 overs.
