New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be invited to visit Ukraine.

According to foreign media reports, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Ayman Zapharova will visit India from Sunday, during which Prime Minister Modi is also likely to be invited to visit Kiev.

This will be the first visit of a Ukrainian official to India since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Zapharova’s visit to India consists of 4 days. The purpose of the visit is to discuss bilateral relations between India and Ukraine and the current situation in Ukraine. Exploring global issues of mutual interest.

According to media reports, the war in Ukraine has severely damaged the country’s energy infrastructure, and the deputy foreign minister is expected to facilitate humanitarian aid for recovery during her visit.

It should be noted that despite assuming the presidency of the G20 bloc this year, India has refused to blame its former ally Russia for the attack on Ukraine, and has insisted on finding a diplomatic solution while continuing to buy Russian oil.
