Modi government kneels before women wrestlers

New Delhi: The helpless Modi government has offered negotiations to women wrestlers who have been protesting for justice for the past several days in India.

According to Indian media, wrestlers protesting against the head of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) have met Sports Minister Anurag Thakur after the Indian government offered to negotiate.

According to reports, the protesting wrestlers met Home Minister Amit Shah, the next day Anurag Thakur also called the wrestlers for a discussion and assured a transparent investigation.

In this regard, Sports Minister Anu Raag Thakur says that the government is willing to discuss with the wrestlers on their issues, I have once again called the wrestlers for this, allegations of sexual harassment against the chief of the wrestling federation. There will be a transparent investigation.

It should be noted that the women wrestlers of India had made accusations of sexual harassment against the chief of the federation, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, and the wrestlers have been protesting in Delhi for the past several weeks. A few days ago, the Delhi Police tortured the protesting wrestlers and arrested them.
