Moca and Dolphins draw 1-1 in LDF day

The elevenths of Los Delfines and MOCA FC sealed an electrifying 1-1 draw, in a match of day 11 of the Dominican Football League (LDF 2023), at Parque del Este.

With a penalty play at minute 45+1, the aurinegros had the first, but Armando Vargas’s penalty was saved by Jose Tejeda, sealing halftime at 0-0.

Starting the second half, two spectacular saves by Odalis Báez prevented the visitors’ goal from falling, with a fan base that enjoyed an electrifying match on matchday 11 of the LDF.

The aurinegros scored first with a well-defined penalty by captain Richard Dabas, in minute 77, beating goalkeeper Jose Tejeda, to the delight of the Mocana fans.

The tie came at minute 90+3 with a headed goal by Juan Felipe Castaño, after the aurinegro goalkeeper Odalis Báez took the ball, used by the Los Delfines player to tie 1-1.

MOCA FC remains in second place in the standings with 19 points, OYM’s group 18, in third, and CIBAO FC, leader in the lead with 23 points.
