A heartbreaking incident took place in the Indian state of Manipur where a mother and her innocent child were burnt alive.
According to local media, the woman was taking her 8-year-old child to the hospital in an ambulance along with her neighbors. The child was seriously injured in the head by a bullet coming from an unknown direction.
En route, the mob blocked the ambulance. Seeing two women and a child sitting inside, they set fire to the ambulance, which burnt the three alive.
According to the police officials, the identification of the bodies has been completed while the crime scene has been cordoned off, steps are being taken to arrest the accused.
A police officer said that on Sunday, the 8-year-old boy was hit by a bullet from an unknown direction, after which I called an ambulance and took steps to take him to the hospital immediately, but on the way he was attacked by the mob.
