This Wednesday, January 26, Xiaomi has its first major world event of 2022. This will serve for the manufacturer to present the new Redmi Note 11, but it should not stop there. It is expected that the global version of its MIUI 13 user interface will also be presented.
At this point, the bravest users of the Beta version can already have access to MIUI 13 on three global version smartphones. The news was advanced by Xiaomiui, and realizes that these are still the “pilot tests”.
Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite in pilot version of MIUI 13
For reference, the three devices that are already being tested with MIUI 13 are Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. All of these test the version that is also equipped with Android 12.
Therefore, Redmi Note 10 codenamed ‘Mojito’ tests MIUI version 13.0.3.0.SKGMIXM. The Redmi Note 10 Pro codenamed ‘Sweet’ has the test version 13.0.2.0.SKFMIXM. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite codenamed ‘Courbet’ is running MIUI version 13.0.2.0.SKQMIXM.
It is good to point out that only those who are part of the ‘My Pilot’ program are testing these versions. Later, if no major bugs are found, the stable beta version is moved. Only after a few days does the stable version arrive for all users of the computer in question.
It is interesting that Xiaomi has chosen mid-range smartphones to start testing MIUI 13 globally. Which suggests that this version will only be an incremental update.
During the event on January 26, the next smartphones that will receive MIUI 13 globally should be revealed.
