Mithali Raj, the great player of Indian women’s cricket, has bid farewell to international cricket. Mithali, who made her ODI debut in 1999, retired today from her 23-year international career. Mithali achieved many accomplishments in a 23-year career. She is the highest running scorer female cricketer in ODI cricket. Mithali Raj is one of the few players to have scored a century in his first ODI match. In his debut match against Ireland in 1999, Mithali scored 114 runs without losing. Mithali Raj played 12 Tests, 232 ODIs and 89 T20 Internationals for India. During this he scored 7805 runs in ODIs at an average of 50.68, 2364 runs in T20 Internationals at 37.52 and 699 runs in Tests. Mithali was also the captain of India for a long time.
