Mission Impossible 8 Sees Sharp Decline on Day 3

The box office is abuzz with the latest releases. Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” has been making waves, but its earnings took a nosedive on Monday. The film, which had a stellar opening weekend with collections of over 30 crores, raked in only 6.75 crores on its third day. This brings its total collection to 40.25 crores.

Meanwhile, another Hollywood film, “Final Destination Bloodlines”, is also vying for attention. Released on Thursday, May 15, the film had a decent extended weekend but saw a slump on Monday. Its collection dropped from 6.6 crores on Sunday to just 3 crores on Monday, bringing its total to 25.45 crores in five days.

In the midst of these Hollywood biggies, Ajay Devgn’s “Red 2” is chugging along steadily. On its 19th day, the film earned 2.25 crores on its third Monday, after collecting 5.65 crores on its third Sunday. Its total collection now stands at 151.50 crores, crossing the 150-crore mark.

It’s clear that “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” is still the favorite among audiences, with Tom Cruise’s action-packed avatar winning hearts. The film’s early release in India, ahead of its US release, is a testament to its popularity in the country. But will it be able to sustain its momentum, or will “Final Destination Bloodlines” gain ground? Only time will tell.
