Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry, suffered a dramatic fall during a preliminary round of the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand. The incident occurred on November 19, just two days before the grand finale.
Henry was walking across the stage in an orange gown and high heels when she missed a step and fell, sustaining serious injuries. A video of the fall has since surfaced.
She was immediately attended to and was later seen being taken away from the competition area on a stretcher for medical treatment. She was admitted to a hospital.
Raul Rocha, the owner of the Miss Universe Pageant, provided an update on Henry’s condition via Instagram. He confirmed that no bones were broken.
Henry received good medical care and remained under observation overnight in a Bangkok hospital. The Miss Universe Organization further confirmed that her injuries were not life-threatening.
Despite the incident, the Miss Universe 2025 final proceeded as scheduled. Fatima Bosch, representing Mexico, was ultimately crowned the 74th Miss Universe.
