Miss Chile Inna Moll has publicly criticized the Miss Universe Organization (MUO). Her concerns specifically address the organization’s handling of an accident involving Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry.
Moll stated that the MUO has not demonstrated appropriate conduct following Henry’s fall. This incident occurred just two days before the competition’s final event.
Miss Jamaica, 29, sustained a significant injury on the runway. She reportedly fell into an opening on the stage that was more than three feet deep, which led to her hospitalization.
"The organization hasn’t even bothered to visit her at the hospital," Moll declared. She emphasized that this is a serious issue when a candidate, who travels from another country to represent her nation, is hospitalized.
Moll, 28, who recently announced her engagement to Mexican businessman Charlie Frettlohr, expressed both anger and sadness. She cited what she perceived as the organizers’ indifference to Miss Jamaica’s condition.
She confirmed that she sent a message to Gabrielle Henry two days prior. However, Moll chose not to disclose Henry’s health status, explaining that Henry wished to keep the details private.
Reports from Las Estrellas (Televisa) indicate Miss Jamaica suffered lacerations to her chin and one foot. Encouragingly, no bone injuries were detected, and medical staff provided immediate attention following her fall.
Beyond her criticism of the MUO, Inna Moll also voiced support for Miss Universe Fátima Bosch. She described the Mexican titleholder as "a real woman."
Moll believes the ongoing controversies have significantly diminished the value of the current Miss Universe edition. She insisted that no one should direct hostility towards Miss Mexico.
"I feel she is a woman like all of us," Moll said. "I don’t think she is doing anything wrong. On the contrary, I believe she embodies the essence of the contest: a real and fearless woman."
Moll clarified that she has largely remained quiet regarding these controversies. She plans to thoroughly analyze the situation before issuing an official statement.
Fátima Bosch recently gave an interview to journalist Jessica Carrillo on Telemundo’s ‘Al Rojo Vivo.’ Bosch firmly defended her victory as Miss Universe.
Despite the various controversies surrounding her reign, Bosch stated unequivocally that she has no intention of relinquishing her crown.
She also defended her father, Bernardo Bosch. Bosch refuted allegations that her title was acquired through business dealings with Miss Universe CEO Raúl Rocha, dismissing such claims as media attempts to gain online attention. "Everything is a lie," she asserted.
