Miravia is continuing to expand its product catalog, with the online platform announcing the incorporation of its first eSIM cards into its new digital services category. As a result, Miravia users can now directly acquire a virtual SIM card from the platform, guaranteeing internet connectivity for tourism and business travelers in various countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania.
Thanks to the incorporation of Roamic’s first eSIM, international travelers can acquire their cards in a matter of minutes through a totally online purchase process, without having to wait to receive the QR code physically at their homes. These cards will enable connectivity in 20 countries, with over 100 flexible data plans adapted to the user’s needs, providing instant coverage.
The introduction of eSIM cards eliminates the high rates associated with roaming services, simplifying the international travel experience and allowing users to chat, consult GPS maps, send and receive emails, or make calls on WhatsApp without worrying about high international rates.
According to Yann Fontaine, CEO of Miravia, “We will continue innovating to offer Miravia users an increasingly wide catalog of products and experiences. The incorporation of virtual eSIM cards helps to boost a true connection without borders, offering instantaneous connectivity, without roaming rates and global coverage. We are committed to digitalization and innovation and convinced of the potential of the new category of digital services, which will enrich our clients’ experience.”
Digital services, a growing category
With this launch, Miravia reinforces its new category of “digital services,” which began operating on the platform during last Christmas with the sale of tickets for exclusive physical experiences such as cooking and fashion masterclasses with influencers and content creators. Miravia has also recently incorporated the sale of tickets for concerts, shows, and cultural activities into this category, with the first event being Iván Cano’s concert on February 21 in Torrelavega (Cantabria). This adds to the video games, software, and digital gift cards already available on the platform.
