Milwaukee Bucks Create NBA History with Three Antetokounmpo Brothers

The Milwaukee Bucks have made National Basketball Association history by signing Alex Antetokounmpo, uniting three brothers on a single NBA roster for the first time.

Alex, 24, now joins his older brothers, Giannis, 30, and Thanasis, 33, creating an unprecedented family presence in the league. This marks the first instance of three siblings playing for the same NBA franchise.

The youngest Antetokounmpo spent his entire professional career in Europe before this move. He is expected to split time between the main Bucks roster and their G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.

His brothers, particularly Giannis, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, were reportedly instrumental in Alex’s arrival.

Fans quickly celebrated the family reunion across social media platforms. Many expressed hope for a complete quartet, with calls for a fourth brother, Kostas, to join the team.

Kostas Antetokounmpo, 27, has also played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers. He currently competes in the Greek league for Olympiacos.
