Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are catching wedding fever again, though this time it’s not for their own big day. The newlyweds looked so in love in a sweet new photo shared by the “Stranger Things” actress on Instagram. The picture, posted on Thursday, August 14, was taken during the wedding of Millie’s older sister, Paige, to her fiancé, Sam.
The celebration itself took place a few days earlier, on Saturday, August 9. In the photos, Brown, 21, looked beautiful in a light blue dress. She was seen walking towards the altar, holding a small child who was likely a family member. Ever the supportive sister, Millie also helped Paige by lifting her dress train as they crossed the grass. Bongiovi, 23, appeared in the photo carousel too, smiling for the camera with his wife standing behind him.
Millie kept her Instagram caption short and sweet, simply writing: “Big sister said ‘I do’.”
Interestingly, Paige and Sam chose the same wedding planner who helped bring Millie and Jake’s glamorous Tuscan wedding to life in May 2024. Camilla Boniek, the wedding planner, shared her joy on her own Instagram account. “I still can’t believe I was part of another special day for this incredible family,” Boniek wrote. She added, “After organizing the wedding of @milliebobbybrown and @jakebongiovi (love you guys ❤️), I was so happy when Millie called me to collaborate with her and help with her sister Paige’s big day.” Boniek described the weekend as “full of joy, love, and that happiness you can see for miles away in Paige and Sam’s eyes.” She finished her post saying, “My heart is full and I am so grateful❤️.”
This family wedding comes just over a year after Millie herself tied the knot with Jake. For those who might not know, Jake is the son of rock icon Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley. Millie previously spilled some fun secrets about their wedding day on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast back in March.
During the podcast chat, Millie revealed that her wedding speech lasted a surprising six minutes. But that wasn’t the biggest surprise for their loved ones. She and Jake also shocked guests with a first dance inspired by the movie “Grease.” “We did a six-minute choreography,” Millie shared excitedly. “I can’t believe Jake actually did it.” Their “Grease” medley included songs like “You’re the One That I Want,” “Summer Nights,” and “We Stick Together.” They even dressed up as the famous characters Sandy and Danny, making it truly epic.
Millie admitted she was very serious about this dance. “That was the only thing where I looked at Jake and said, ‘If you fail me on this.'” She mentioned they had practiced for a year and a half, even taking dance classes. “It was very strict for me,” she explained. “I always wanted to do it.” Luckily, Jake was perfect on the dance floor. “We didn’t miss a single step,” Millie happily reported. “I don’t regret it one bit. It was like putting on a show.” She also pointed out that since Jake is an actor too, they really enjoyed putting on that performance for everyone.
